How I Intend To Help You!

At Wildcraft Medicine, I offer a Family Medicine practice with a primary focus on preconception and fertility, digestive health, hormone balancing, and supporting optimal wellness. Soon after I graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in 2014 I moved to San Diego and joined a practice called RestorMedicine. For three and a half years I specialized in treating chronic Lyme disease and other chronic illnesses. Through this experience, I gained knowledge about treating every system. I became an expert in detoxification and drainage therapy, digestive health, hormone balancing, nutritional imbalances, inflammation, immune balancing, and more. It was here that I realized my true passion is helping men and women conceive, working with those with digestive issues, and supporting people’s hormones, adrenals, and nutrition for optimal wellness.

Dr. Emily specializes in:

Education:

I am a licensed naturopathic doctor and received my medical degree from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe, AZ in 2014. Here I was trained as a primary care doctor, with an emphasis on natural modalities and other principles like treating the whole person and getting to the root cause of disease. Throughout my 4 years in medical school, I became an expert in the importance of diet and lifestyle and how to support the body using modalities like botanical medicine, homeopathy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and more. Most importantly I learned to treat people, not diseases. Naturopathic medicine is so unique because it allows us to use different tools and therapies to best support each individual. It is a heart-based medicine with you at its best interest.  Prior to medical school I attended Syracuse University and received my bachelors in Health and Exercise Science. I’ve always been interested in how the body works and how it’s all connected.

How I Got Here:

Growing up in Guilford, Connecticut with a loving mother, father and two siblings, I was surrounded by unconditional support and good food. (Well my definition of “good” has now changed but it definitely was a mix of good comfort food and good healthy food.) It was instilled in us that family, love and your health are what determined true wealth. I grew up very grateful to have good health. The occasional times I would get sick was always innately more curious and open to natural treatments. However, I had no idea how profound this type of medicine could be. This medicine continues to amaze me each day from a woman regaining her normal cycle using herbal and nutritional supplementation, to completely eliminated acid reflux and major digestive distention that had been ongoing for years.
